Each tiny item is stronger than you think (but not indestructible!). These miniatures are crafted primarily from polymer clay which forms a hard-plastic type material once is baked. However, try to avoid dropping them or hitting them against a hard surface. Please do not place under extreme heat or submerge in water for long periods of time. Most pieces are sealed with a polyurethane coat but heat or water may ultimately damage the piece.
